Verdun Windows And Doors

Verdun gave us great service and a quality product! The installers were on time, very friendly and extremely clean! Would highly recommend to anyone and will gladly hire them again for future projects!

An error was made in my order, but Michel bent over backwards to set things right before my slated installation date, which is two weeks from now. A shoutout to Genevieve for her remarkable efforts at coordinating the project. I will write another review after the work is completed.

After the installation we noticed one of the windows had a large scratch on the outer surface of the glass. Only needed to replace the pane of glass a few weeks later.

While we did not proceed on our project with Verdun, our experience with them was so unusual and surprising that we felt compelled to share it more broadly. Our journey started first with Geneviève who answered all our queries in a professional, knowledgeable and facilitative manner. Indeed, a real pleasure to deal with. She scheduled a home visit for us with Michel. Upon inspecting our windows, he advised that we already had good quality windows that did not need replacing and that the condensation problem we were having was caused by high humidity levels in the house. He advised us on what to do to solve our problem. Then, on the issue of our requirements for the replacement of our double front doors, he advised us that Verdun did not carry sidelights that cranked open with screens. He then proceeded to make a phone call to another company who he believed offered what we needed. He also provided us with the name of a second company, in the event the first one did not pan out.

We moved into our home 2 years ago and have since dealt with many companies in the renovation of our home. We have never experienced the type of customer service and honesty we received from Verdun. Their ethics and the value they place on their customers are outstanding and, dare I say, unique.

Two years ago we purchased windows from Marlboro and were dissatisfied with the colour of the vinyl and there is often moisture on the windows. We were told there was nothing they could do about the colour because we had the opportunity to look at it in their showroom. The colour is called "ice white" and appears blue against white trim. We contacted Verdun about replacing some other older windows and ended up deciding to change out the new windows we had just installed as well. After meeting with Michel, he gave us a more detailed explanation when comparing the different styles of windows to choose from (including wind, cleaning, and efficiency). Verdun also provides a sample piece of vinyl to look at in your home (It is a natural white). I cannot personally comment on the Verdun windows or the installation yet as they have not been installed yet. However, my mother replaced windows in her entire house 5 years ago with Verdun and is still very happy with their product and service. I'll review our windows and installation once completed.

Had windows installed by verdun doors and windows 13 years ago ,had some problems with them but the company was very good about repairing the problem and very quickly too

I would not recommend this company. We had all the windows replaced in our house. Firstly, the start of installation was over 3 months later then originally promised. Once on site, they did not bring the correct size for a number of windows. They were difficult to reach to re-book and actually came to the house again unannounced. Once they left after the 2nd visit, there was a massive, visible crack right across a main window in the kitchen. All in all, it took 5 visits and over 7 months from the original contract signing to get all the windows installed as promised. Would NOT give them any more business under any circumstance!

2 windows were installed at our rental property. The living room window installed beautifully but an hour after the installers left, I found that the downstairs bedroom window had foam insulation popping out of the frame (outdoors). Well, Jesse and Liette returned and fixed the problem and explained what had caused it. A beautiful job, and I am very appreciative of their efforts. I would definitely recommend them!!!

Small bungalow needed all windows replaced. They gave us an accurate quote and got the work done all while being very professional. We went back to get our exterior doors replaced and basement windows replaced. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent installation of front and side doors. Very happy with the product. Unhappy with customer service. Installation was over 2 months past the estimated early fall install date and was just squeezed in on December 22 (-13 degrees). I had to place several phone calls TO the company to find out what was going on, no one reached out to give me information about the status of the doors, as we waited week after week. Even had to make the final call to find out what time of day they were coming, as no one let us know. Glad we found out about the cutomer service on this smaller job before proceeding with the much bigger job of replacing windows, we will be going elsewhere.

I had 3 double hung windows installed in the living room. The work was supposed to be completed on a Friday but was done on the following day due to a previous job that given the installers some difficulty which was fine. The installation was quick and efficient with minimal disruption to the rest of the room. The installer were pleasant and professional. Everything that was included in the project at the time the contract was signed was completed. I was really impressed with the fact that they vacuumed the area (living room) after the work was completed. I would happily recommend this company to anyone and will use them in the future.
