I called customer service to request a service call. I asked if I could speak to a technician first. Shortly I received a call back from Rick, the owner. He suggested a few things I could check before I had to place a service call.

I had to wait a couple of weeks before I could place a service call and had an appointment the next day. On the day of the service call I received a call from Jason, the service technician, who was running early and wanted to know if he could come before the appointment time which was very surprising as normally these calls mean they are running late. He looked at my Goodman furnace and found the problem and explained what the problem was as he repaired it. He was very professional but mostly his attitude was what impressed me. He seemed to enjoy his job and explained things to me so I would understand. He did give me suggestions on what he felt could be done but did not push this on me.

I would recommend High Efficiency to family and friends without a single doubt that they would receive the same service I received. I will always call them for any heating and/or air condition problems I have in the future.

My furnace was 25 years old and had "retired" without telling me. LOL House was cold and kids and dogs were complaining ...Had a few HVAC companies come over to give me a quote and recommendation on new furnace. Cannot emphasize enough how happy I was to find Charton at HE Cooling & Heating. His knowledge, his efficiency, his thoughtfulness (he gave us heaters to use while we awaited installation), his customer service and satisfaction are top notch. He gave me a great price, assisted with rebates and followed up after installation to ensure I was happy. Installers were also great. "HIGH"ly recommend HIGH EFFICIENCY :)

We’ve owned our Carrier system since 2007 and were looking for a Carrier specialist to attend to our service needs. We didn’t want a jack of all trades type service. Needed and wanted Carrier experts.

We spotted High Efficiency’s ads and the consistently good reviews posted about this heating & a/c group - Carrier experts.

So, we gave a call when we had some heating system concerns, last winter.

They promptly set us up with an appointment and their technician, Harry visited to consider the issue - right on time.

He listened & considered my observations on our valued system, gave a look and zeroed in on the igniter system problem. Before we knew it, he had replaced the parts and checked further for any other related igniter and burner issues. All good. And, he communicated very well helping me understand our system better.

In the late spring, we asked for him again - to check the a/c before the seasonal needs and we were assured that all was well. Again, Harry left us with a better understanding about the Carrier unit.

As we prepared for this cold weather season, I noticed something was off despite working well enough. Again, Harry considered my thoughts and observations, checked the Infinity controler’s reports and once again zeroed in on the potential first step concern. Bingo! Heat sensor part replaced, system schedule tweaked for optimum performance given the system’s capabilities, and away we go confidently.

All at reasonable rates.

Would we recommend High Efficiency?
If you own a Carrier, absolutely.

Our furnace stopped working and we contacted HIgh Efficiency Cooling and Heating because our Carrier furnace is still under warranty they are the Carrier authorized dealer. Our appointment was in the afternoon but Jason called in the morning. He said one of his appointments was cancelled and he wanted us to have heat by the end of the day.

Jason was very professional. He found the problem (we needed to change the gas valve) and also explained during his work, told us what caused the problem and how we could prevent the problem in the future. He was very patient to answer our questions and we had the heat again on the same day.

We were very satisfied with his work and we will contact the company again for furnace maintenance next year. I would definitely recommend High Efficiency Cooling and Heating.
