We were dreading the repair of our iron fence in our front yard. Two posts were really rusted out. But we didn't think we could get a company to come out for what is a fairly minor repair. Dufferin was the first to respond to our request for quotes (within minutes). I sent through two photos, they gave the quote the same afternoon and said the work would be done when they were next in the area.

It was brilliant. Within two weeks, they had come and done the work. These folks are top notch. Highly recommend.

I had a wooden pergola which was falling apart. I had an image in my mind of what I wanted, something elegant, unusual and unique. I wanted the posts to look like a piece of art (Stained Glass) and Dufferin Iron created exactly what I wanted. The installation staff were wonderful!

We had our front steps and entrance redone last summer and were in need of a railing to complete it. I had been snooping around on Pinterest and found a photo of the exact railing we were hoping to find. The photo actually had the contact information for Dufferin Iron so I contacted them (and a few other places). I heard back from Oliver and by phone, email and photos, we managed to narrow down the design. A couple weeks later he came by to measure and think (weird angles). We gave a small deposit and were told the railing would be completed and installed in January (they close for Christmas). Although we wanted it asap, we were fine with a January installation. However, in the week before Christmas we received a call telling us the railing was ready to be installed. We were thrilled. They installed the railing in a few hours, touched it up, cleaned up and left. They were friendly, polite and definitely knew what they were doing. We absolutely love our railing. It's very solid and is beautifully constructed. We will definitely recommend Dufferin Iron and Railing to everyone.

First time a have contracted Dufferin Iron to manufacture and install iron railings for my house porch few years ago. The job was done in time with not perfect quality, but considering overall level of Toronto's contractors, good enough. After that I have decided to install a canopy above the same entry. Because I wanted to keep the same style and use the same materials, I have came to them again and spoke to Oliver. We have discussed all details and agreed that someone will be contacting me soon to finalize the order. More than two months passed and nothing happened, I was trying to reach someone from company several times, lived messages for Oliver - no luck. I understand that they might have a little interest in this job, but at least they could tell me that and show some respect. Shame.

Professional outfit and great pricing. After we made a few calls to railing fabricators, we decided to go with Dufferin Iron. In their office, Desiree was very responsive and she helped us navigate the selections available and the company’s process. The pricing was very reasonable (vs some competitor quotes we had including some that required us to spend a minimum of $1.5k regardless of the size of the job, 50% above what was quoted by Dufferin!). Oliver came to our house, measured and confirmed timing and pricing.
On installation day, a 3-men crew came and professionally mounted the beautiful railings. Highly recommended.
