Thank you to Alberta Hardwood Flooring, for saving my floors! I initially contracted with a company, who apparently had 15 years of experience,to refinish my hardwood floors (dustless sanding). It was a bad experience from the beginning! This contractor started late, equipment was continuously breaking down, workers only worked 2-3 hours a day, incorrect advise on staining options and the dust was horrendous. Besides been upset about this contractors work ethic I had serious concerns on the actual quality of work. I contacted Mike Smith at Alberta Hardwood and he agreed to inspect my floors. Mike not only confirmed my concerns but also pointed out many additional errors! I hired Alberta Hardwood to repair the damage and finish off my floors. Alberta hardwoods service was impeccable ! They started & completed my project on time, they always left my home neat & tidy, the dust was minimal and they provided professional advise on the appropriate staining options. My hardwood floors look brand new. Thank you Alberta Hardwood, your team is worth every cent.

Mat Thompson reviewed our installation requirements and quickly determined what was need and then selected his installers for the job based on the works needed. He was able to quickly fit us in quicker than we expected and James and Jessie showed up the day of the install on time and as promised. They worked steadily and completed the job in 2 days without any mess or bother to us. At the end of day 1 they leaned up as if the job was done, neatly stacking tools away on cardboard and ensuring everything was neat and clean. During their work they wore soft shoes for indoors and made sure no damage was done during the install. A job well done, on time, and on budget. No surprises and no problems. I would have them do another job in a second. Well done James and Jessie! We will use Lakeview Floors again. Thanks Mat.

We were having a hard time finding hardwood and then we went to Lakeview floors . The salesman Matt was very helpful he went through all the pros and cons of all the different types of woods with us. When he came to take the measurements for the estimate he helped us pick the right color for our home. We had the estimate the next morning We were very happy with his service.. The installer Jorden was a one man crew and he did a excellent job had the 800 square feet of the hardwood and all new baseboards done in three and a have days and it looks wonderful We recommend lakeview floors too anybody looking to do Hardwood.

Mat Thompson gave a very accurate estimate. Flooring was delivered and installed as per quote. Installers moved furniture and put back when job was done. Everyone very friendly and professional. Would recommend Lakeview floors to others.

Matt and the guys at Lakeview Flooring were great for my inlaw's renovations. They were honest and reliable and Matt addressed any concerns we had promptly and effectively. Great job!

I got Lakeview to refinish the hardwood floors and replace the vinyl flooring in my mom's place after she had moved to a senior care facility. The buildup of Mop And Glo that she had used had turned the hardwood grey.
Alberta Hardwood came in and refinished the Oak flooring to like new. The work was started when promised and finished on time with a minimum of dust.
The same goes for the carpet and Lino installation.

I contacted AHF when I purchased a brand new townhouse and took possession of it two weeks ago. I contacted them because the builder had hired their own installer to install the expensive PurParket engineered floor that was purchased from AHF. I was disappointed to discover the flooring while beautiful, had been installed poorly: visible glue patches, paint thinner marks that had been used to sloppily try to clean glue off, blotches of stain existed in every room as well. AHF immediately responded, even though they did not install the floor, they sent out Brad who immediately validated my concerns and arranged for Mike Smith (and his assistant Trent) to come out and correct the problems. My reason for writing this review was to highlight what a amazing job Mike did in rescuing my floors. He spent hours scrubbing off the blotches of stain, glue, and who knows what else (ALL DONE BY HAND On his KNEES) then he used the sander to buff the entire floor with the appropriate oil. The final product was amazing! But the real point I want to make is that MIKE SMITH saved the day! He was incredibly thorough and meticulous, showed great care to every spec of the floor he worked on, and he was extremely pleasant and repeatedly told me, "I just want to make you happy with the floor....so we'll do whatever needs to be done". I rarely see folks show his degree of pride in his work and was so impressed, I had to write to share this with others looking for help with their new or existing HWF. I would recommend anyone to this company and especially to Mike Smith and Trent, if you ever need to repair your hardwood. Thanks again Mike!!

After several experiences with a variety of flooring companies in the Calgary area, and after many months of visiting show homes to get a clear idea of what we were looking for, we had the absolute PLEASURE of meeting Mat at Lakeview Floors. Not only was he completely knowledgeable about the products and options out there on the market, he was VERY personable and truly invested in the products he is selling. He came to our home in order to further discuss our needs, assess our individual situation, and was very generous with his time and knowledge. We knew, immediately, that Mat would be the person we would go with. As if THAT wasn't amazing enough, then we had the privilege of meeting and working with Jordan, our talented installer. Wow. Not only was he incredibly skilled, he was also very personable. He worked so well with our family and did such an amazing job of laying our hard earned hardwood floors. Excellent service from a reputable company. I did my research and decided on Lakeview Floors to do my reno because they have been in the business a long time and have a solid reputation. The material was delivered without issue. The installer completed an excellent job and I am impressed by their work. I would reccomend Lakeview Floors to my friends and family.

Working with Brad from Lakeview floors was a real treat. He knows his stuff, has a great crew, competitive pricing and the work was done on time. The job turned out great and would highly recommend his services.
