Classic Fireplace and BBQ Store

We had an excellent experience from start to finish! Bruce was super to work with and called us after installation to check on everything! The installers were great, very professional and cleaned and put everything back after finished. Such pride in their work is such a rare quality these days. The whole team took customer service to a higher level. So happy we went with is company!

We looked at many companies before selecting Classic Fireplace in Whitby. We had a complex fireplace issue so we had endless questions. Karen came to our home to help us navigate our options. Karen was very patient, diligent and friendly.

The installers, Dwayne & Kyle, did a fantastic job. They were so patient and helpful. They did the unit install and we are doing the framing/tile ourselves. They gave us some great suggestions for completing our project. They protected our floors and cleaned the job site.

The end result is simply gorgeous. We chose a linear Vector gas fireplace and it was installed to perfection. It is SO refreshing to deal with a company who always answers their phone and responds to inquiries immediately. They obviously value customer satisfaction. Your guys delivered the BBQ promptly on time as promised this week.
They carefully carried it down the steps to the back yard and then up the steps to our deck which is above the walkout basement.
They placed the propane tank in the base of the grill, connected it and proceeded to explain in detail how the BBQ worked.

They were professional, informed, polite, and had great customer skills.

Everyone we dealt with provided exceptional service. This place is quality; they are quality people and they do quality work. We had a fireplace installed in our sunroom and used it every day all winter. The followings summer we needed a minor repair to our gas line and again the prompt and efficient service we received by Classic fireplace's service tech Steven F. was as it should be; friendly, prompt, very professional and even apologetic for being 3 minutes late....I've never had a service man/contractor be all these things at once! Keep up the unbelievable service! We highly recommend these guys!

Needed a wood burning stove for my cottage. Terry was super knowledgeable in helping us select our wood stove. Our cottage was out of their install district but Terry was so great he was able to put together all the parts for a local installer to install the fireplace at our cottage. Everything went well! Would highly recommend this company !

It began with a visit to the store to buy a new cover for my 10 tear old Napoleon Prestige 450. Bruce showed me the new ones and I thought I owed it to myself to get a newer one as I use it 4-5 times per week. The Prestige 500 seemed like perfect choice for the price but I knew that I could get one using my bank rewards. Turned out it was a Prestige 500 Pro, so I ordered it. It was delivered last Saturday. I had already talked to Bruce about how difficult was it to assemble and decided to get them to do it properly. I phoned today and asked Bruce to arrange for assembling it. He put me in touch with the warehouse manager who said he could arrange to do it this afternoon. Be foe lunch John and Zack turned up had it all assembled, changed the gas connection and showed me how everything worked. I can’t say enough about the service especially since I didn’t buy the BBQ from them. Fantastic job from everyone connected with this store. 10 stars would not be enough this kind of service. Steve (Stephen?) and Rick were amazing. I had confirmed the wrong model and it was partially installed when I realized it was not the one I meant to order - They were SO wonderful and within an hour they had the right one at my house and by the evening I had a beautiful Valor - freestanding/modern style unit. Polite, professional and would not settle until I was 100% happy. THRILLED and will use them for the next house we renovate. Terry was great to deal with and so understanding as well - very very pleased.

I bought a gas BBQ and a fireplace from this company. Sales are the easy part but follow up service can be poor. This company was excellent is all it did. The service/repair was extraordinary and Zack was so helpful. Best wishes Rick
