Worst builder/terrible experience

I closed on my new Richcraft Baldwin this week. My experience with Richcraft has been a nightmare so far. I have owned urbandale and Uniform homes - amazing experience from signing to handover. Highly recommend Uniform especially. We chose richcraft because we loved their layouts. I started noticing problems with the exterior of my house in July and notified my sales agent in Westwood. These were not small issues (e.g., garage roof overhang 2 inches higher on one side than the other). The exterior of my home still looks terrible (see photos), I have chipped masonry, broken front window, broken outdoor faucet, metal trim over the exterior fireplace is too short and water/bees can get into the house (reported this twice), an uncovered hole on the right side of my house - perfect breeding ground for mice, over it soffits, didn’t have a dryer vent on the exterior - no one noticed until I pointed out at PDI), dents in my metal trim work for my upgraded Baldwin D, caulking hanging off the exterior walls…and now to the interior. I had my PDI last Wednesday, all the floors were covered (thank god I took photos during he PDI to prove this) as there were electricians, painters and plumbers working. When I got possession Monday at 5pm, I was shocked at the damage to my hardwood and the terrible workmanship and poor installation of tile. I have over 80 chips, peeling, nail pops, end cuts put together on the hardwood area alone. Chipped tile, tile that was not properly cleaned and now have huge mortar chunks that have dried, tile where the installer used a pencil to make the entire floor and then never bothered to wipe it off, so now it is part of tile, a warped diverged in my ensuite shower, chip in bathtub… and the house was filthy. I went to eurotile and showed video of the house that richcraft left me with to get advice on how to even clean the tile enough to fill out my 24 hour surface report. They were shocked, told me to leave it for them to figure out. Also went to Continental flooring re my extremely damaged Lauzon floor ($15k upgrade) and the manager I spoke with was also shocked when I showed him my videos and photos. He told me not to clean the floor, as he will be called by Richcraft to look. So, if you want to spend your time pre-close begging for major issues to be fixed, and at PDI, and then be shocked, angry and disappointed at close - buy a richcraft home. Here are a few photos to show you the quality you will be getting. The only good thing is that you have to drive past my home to get to the new model homes, so the terrible workmanship should be partially visible to prospective owners. (Note, every piece of green tape is an issue)
