Front door and patio door

I purchased two doors: front entry and balcony door. Tony (Sales) was good to work with -- quick to respond to emails and phone calls. My only regret with my door selection was that I chose a mini blinds door. In theory, great idea because I did not have to worry about window coverings for the window on the door. Unfortunately the mini blinds did little to block light. I don't believe these doors should be recommended for bedrooms.

Installation process was not as good. Communication wasn't great, staff were over confident, pushy. Torwin bragged about great installation service and customer satisfaction but my house was left quite messy and phone calls took a while to return.

When small mistakes were made, apologies were non-existent, excuses were plentiful. Pride on reputation was repeated over and over. My issues weren't big, but I still didn't enjoy the conversations -- that is, when a phone call was returned.

In the end, the company isn't bad. Cocky. But if you're okay with that kind of thing, then go for it. I would have preferred a more genuine and down to earth relationship.

Kelly, our apologies you did not have a 10/10 experience with our company and that you felt we were cocky. We have been in business for almost 30 years with many happy customer, so we believe it is confidence more so than cockiness but you are entitled to your opinion. We do strive to make sure that we leave the job site as clean as possible. Sometimes things get missed and if that was the case in your situation, we apologize. Our intention is not to leave your site messy. We have a 24hr return phone call policy that we take very seriously so there will be a follow up on this to get to the bottom of it. We recall a short while ago there was an issue with your mini blind unit. You had emailed us on a January 10th in the evening and the next morning we got back to you (January 11th) and we had a service booked for January 13th. The issue was with the actual door and not the installation. We would like to think that this was handled in a very timely fashion.
In regards to the mini blind unit, if you are unhappy, you can always change the slab of the door so that there is no light, if you prefer. That is always an option.
