We found Tender Touch Moving & Storage online, and after we checked out a few other companies just by talking to them we felt that Tender Touch seemed to have really good service. Plus, their office was close by to us so we decided to go with them to help us move. It went great and there was nothing to complain about. Basically, we were happy with our choice.

I got word of Tender Touch Moving and Storage from a simple flyer in the mail. I decided to try them for an in-city move and loved it. In fact, they were the very best moving company I’ve ever used and that’s saying a lot since I’ve moved about a dozen times in the past years. These guys were very friendly, knowledgeable and nobody tried to hose me – most moving companies love springing on those extra fees last minute. I’ve already recommended Tender Touch to a friend because of how great they were.

I found out about Tender Touch Moving and Storage through an advertisement. They weren’t the cheapest but they also weren’t the most expensive company, and I decided to go with them because they have a VIP service where they take extra care not to damage anything. So far they only helped me move out, but they are going to be moving all my stuff into another place later. So from I’ve seen of the first job they did they were phenomenal. They were all super polite, on time and careful with my stuff. It was fantastic.

I found Tender Touch Moving and Storage just by googling moving companies and looking a few reviews. I actually tried calling some others, but Tender Touch was the one available on short notice. They were able to accommodate me and my schedule, which was great. And ended up using them twice. Both times they did a good job helping me move pretty fast and they wrapped up my things nicely so nothing was damaged.

Ok... the story... We hired Tender Touch Moving & Storage for a second time to move us from our condo to a new townhouse. The good experience started when I called Maria for a quote. She was delightful to speak with. I got my quote right away and she explained adjustments and other advantages based on the fact that we were returning customers.

On the day of the move, the moving crew showed up on time. To my delight, we had the same experienced team lead, Pedro. Everyone at Tender Touch Moving is good humoured and a pleasure to be around. But beyond their sunny disposition, here are the details that might influence your choice:
- They take care to lay down mats so not to damage floors
- Everything is wrapped and properly boxed
- Large furniture is taken apart if necessary and put back together at the new place
- The crew is well coordinated, quick yet careful
- Boxes, such as wardrobe and for artwork are provided
Even though we were satisfied the first time, I called around for quotes and Tender Touch came in competitively. They are definitely good value for money. Moving forward, we will only move with them!

We were very nervous during the weeks leading up to our big move. Things had been going wrong a lot during that time, and we expected another disaster would come from this, our first time using movers. We had a full house of stuff including some additional hassles in the basement (lots of exercise equipment and a 400-lb 150 gallon aquarium). We had kept our expectations extremely low and resolved to be happy if our movers just managed simply to get everything from A to B in 'one piece' (relatively speaking).

We made sure to pack as much as possible into clearly labelled boxes during the days before the movers were scheduled to arrive. Most boxes were then stacked in the main entrance to make it quicker and easier for the movers. This proved to be a great idea.

On moving day, three men from Tender Touch arrived. They were on time and eager to begin by touring the house in order to visualize the move. An invaluable step for sure, and I could see that Phil-- the seasoned pro who is now our favourite person--knew exactly how to make this move work in a fast, efficient, and safe manner.

Throughout the day, Phil expertly managed a well-trained team of three to a successful move (all in one truck). They all made us feel that they enjoyed their work, they're happy to be doing it, and they understand our anxiety (but they were quick to calm our nerves). We were so pleasantly surprised with the outcome that we felt we've become jaded in expecting anything less than what we paid for--or maybe great companies like Tender Touch are extremely rare these days... It was clear that every action by the movers was skillfully executed to ensure the item transported safely and that there would be no damage to either house.

All in all, our experience can be summed up by our reaction to each other as soon as Phil thanked us and shook our hands. As the door closed, we both said at the same time 'That was SO worth it!!!' It really was.

Tender Touch recently helped us move from one home to another 15 minutes away. Their customer service was exemplary, from Maria making the arrangements to Pedro and his crew efficiently moving our belongings and carefully arranging our furniture. Without Tender Touch our move would have been a lot more stressful.
