When Paul Lafrance Design Group recommended Royal Decks to build our very elaborate deck we did not know what to expect. Miro was very knowledgeable and helpful in making sure that our deck could become a reality. Steve took personal pride in building the deck according to the design and he always made sure that the client was well informed every step of the way. Everyone agrees that it is a beautiful deck and we are glad that Miro and his team made this dream possible.

We were impressed with Miro when he came to quote on our project and so we hired Royal Decks to build our deck and some cedar privacy fencing. Miro is a highly qualified "hands on" owner with a full time crew and we were extremely happy with the deck plans and build. When I saw Royal Decks on Homestars and saw the reviews and photos of their work, I knew they were the right company for me. Miro is so professional and pleasant to work with, giving me good advice and recommending the appropriate materials (because I wanted low maintenance, he advised on a good composite decking product) and Richie executed the work beautifully, with superb attention to detail for a really attractive finished job that co-ordinates with the rest of my home. I was impressed on first meeting by the fact that Miro the owner of the company drew up a detailed to scale drawing of existing structure and dimensions and digitized it making it easy to design a new deck accommodating the anomalies in existing brickwork and concrete. The other two contractors never provided any drawings. Miro was knowledgeable of the pros and cons of the various proposals I made and because it was all digitized he was able to revise drawings quickly and also quote a price quickly. The crew were all very capable carpenters although Miro was the best and he was very patient with me making changes. The communication was good, I always knew what to expect and everything happened on schedule. The deck looks great and I would thoroughly recommend Royal Decks

And I also highly recommend Miro who handled our preliminary request and, even though very busy, communicated excellently throughout from early specs, spec changes until work commenced. Royal Decks built our deck in North York in June 2014 - within timing and budget. I feel lucky we found them as it was probably our best experience out of our quite reach history dealing with various building / home improving companies. We enjoyed working with Royal Decks from the stage of the quote submission to finishing the project. We chose Royal Deck out of several companies who provided the quotations - we were working with Julian on design and price: he was very punctual, responsive and creative to help us to find a way to get the perfect design meeting our needs (upscale look and feel, privacy, low maintenance, practicality - e.g. shed under the higher level, space for gazebo) within the budget. They started the project exactly when they promised. Royal Decks demonstrated high quality of craftsmanship and attention to details.
