The element on our 20 year old Thermador oven burned out.
It was very difficult to find someone who knew about the part or who would do the work...until we found Pambis Appliance Repair.
Our work was done on time, efficiently and with respect to our home and our old oven. We were thrilled! We would most certainly use Pambis again for repairs and would not hesitate to tell others!

We called Enbridge late one night due to the smell of gas. Turns out there was a gas leak in our oven and no shut off valve for the oven. A few other issues were also uncovered and we had our gas shut off until a certified contractor could come and make the repairs (i.e. no hot water, no stove). Pete called us back promptly; he was very clear about when he could come (same day), and what it would cost. He also helped us out by recommending contractors that could address our furnace issues.

Leak is fixed, new shut off installed, plus furnace capped. He addressed the Red Tag issues and mailed them back to Enbridge and we now have access to hot water and oven. So thankful.

Pete is thorough, punctual and clear about price/options, plus really helpful (intros to furnace contractors). So glad we had him come by and will definitely be contacting him again (if needed).

Pambis Appliance Service provides excellent service. Peter is highly skilled, exceptionally knowledgeable, and very professional. He repaired our stove and refrigerator and they are working perfectly. After examining the appliances, Peter knew immediately what the problems were and how to solve them. He is excellent and we highly recommend him.

Kitchen Aid Refrigerator freezer was leaking water. Peter was the only one to call back and come by to fix the problem the same day. He also replaced the problem part instead of just putting a band aid solution for a quick fix. I highly recommend Peter at Pambis Appliance Service for any appliance problems. It was raining in my basement as my dishwasher had sprung a leak. I thought was the eavestroughs because of all the rain we have had.

Once I figured out that it was coming from outside I turned off the water supply and called Pete. He asked that send him a picture of the water supply connection to the dishwasher and I noticed for the first time from the picture that there was a lot of corrosion from above the connection. Pete diagnosed the problem from the picture as leaky valve, got the right replacement part and arrived at a time that was convenient to me, despite the fact that he was preparing to go away with his family on vacation with lots of other clients to see.. He took the time to explain it all and showed me the part. He reached into a space under the dishwasher that I could never had gotten my hand in, so we didn't have to move the machine. . Pete was efficient, transparent and knowledgeable .

I asked him to take a look at my stove that has had some minor electronic glitches. since he was there. He was clear about what it might be and I realized that this was part of the normal life cycle of this model and was probably not worth investing more $$$ in, since it still works fine..

Crisis! Washer AND dryer stopped working. Peter was able to come same day, had parts with him AND saved my bacon. His prices were fair too! Would completely recommend to everyone!

I have relied on the Pambis bros a couple of times now and they have been a huge help. Once they took care of a fridge removal and replacement without me even being there. Everything went off without a hitch. Thanks guys

You do not have to convince me to write a review. I have been dealing with Pambis Appliance for close to 9 years now maybe 10. I can't remember it is like a good friendship you don't remember the time just the relationship.

It started with our refrigerator. I called Pambis Appliance and spoke to Pete. I explained my problem over the phone and Pete knew right away what was wrong. Told me he can't get there right away and slotted me in for the next day. Called me back later and said he'll be there later in the day. He showed up as promised and that was a great start in my books. Pete was professional and friendly and knew exactly what the problem was and told me like it is and did not sugar coat it. The repair was done in no time. The refrigerator is 20 years old and still running strong.

Two years after the refrigerator incident I called Pambis because our washing machine was making some really weird noises. It sounded like a marching band going through our house. Pete came by and said the washer is toast. Can't save it to far gone it would be cheaper to buy a new one than to spend good money on fixing it. Because the washer is a condo style unit which was attached to a dryer I had to buy a new dryer as well. On Pete's advice we bought new and you guessed it we bought from Pambis just because Pete gave us a great deal but most importably we trusted him. Pete and his brother Chris delivered the washer and dryer on time and installed within an hour and a half. Moving the appliances took longer than the actual installation. They left the place clean and tidy and took the old washer and dryer with them. It has been 5 years since we bought the washer and dryer and just two days ago a noise was heard when doing a load of laundry and who did I call? Of course, Pambis Appliance was there any doubt. Described the noise to Pete and he just knew what the problem was. The key is to give Pete a good description of the noise and it helps if you give him the make and serial number. Pete said I can't promise to get there today I have to book you in for next week but I will try and get there at the end of the day again no promises. I did not care because I have the right people looking after me. Phone rings later in the day and it was Pete, I can come today if you're in. I made myself available. Pete came saw and conquered. Who do I recommend "Pambis Appliance" good people are hard to find especially in this day and age. You'll be a fool not to use Pambis Appliance.

I love Home stars because I find people like Peter. Honest, on time and dosen't over charge you. Peter saved me from buying a new dishwasher and actually showed me how to fix the problem myself it happened again.

Great service fixing my broken washing machine. Peter was on time, quickly identified the problem, changed one part and came back as promised to change the other part that he didn't have on him. Would definitely recommend Pambis and will use them again.
