windows replacement

I changed my entire 2nd floors' window 3 months ago. I wasn't satisfied with the result as my reason to change the windows is noise issue. Although the new windows installment was clean, smooth and they also looked good. My noise problem did not improved(maybe only 10% better than the old window). And I wrote an review on homestars as here was where I found the company. About 2-3 weeks after I left the reviews. Consumers Choice contacted me and offering me a lower cost to replace my new triple glazed windows to laminated windows within a month in order to solve the noise problem. Although the problem wasn't completely solve( I would say about 60% better than the original old window). I appreciated the sincere business attitude of Consumers Choice and the effort they put on individual customer.

Company Response

Following a conversation that I had personally, I am, of course, very pleased that the customer has indicated their appreciation of our response to their concerns.

Upon further investigation, we confirmed that the customer backs onto the 401 highway and that they were seeking a better sound barrier against the noise it produces.

We claim, with confidence, that all of our windows reduce sound transmission, to varying degrees. The customer indicated that they wanted their home to be even quieter than what the triple glazed windows they ordered provides. We agreed, therefore, to replace them with laminated glass sealed units. We did this, for good-will, and at a subsidized cost.

Since we have replaced the customer’s sealed units with the new laminated glass sealed units, the customer reports a reduction in the noise pollution from the highway at between 60% - 75%. Following this excellent result, the customer has requested that we return in the fall to install new Ener-save windows in her basement.

I am very pleased that we, at Consumer’s Choice, were able to satisfy the customer’s concern. We constantly strive to do everything in our power to keep Consumer’s Choice customers happy and confident with the products that they have chosen.

Yours sincerely,
