Stack replacement - emergency call out
A backed up stack and waste flowing into the bath tub — that was our house warming gift the night we moved in. Thank goodness for New Canadian Drain and Plumbing which was the only emergency plumbing service to answer
my cry for help late on a Saturday night. Edita was calm and reassuring and told me that a plumber would be with me in the morning. Danny was at our place first thing on Sunday and worked hard to pinpoint the source of the blockage —which turned out to be ice that had built up because of poor flow in the deteriorating iron pipe. The only viable long term solution was to replace the entire length of the old iron stack. Peace of mind doesn’t come cheap, but the professionalism, hard work and skill of Danny and the other three plumbers who did the work made the pill much easier to swallow! They worked tirelessly for about 10
hours straight to make sure the work was finished in one day. Highly recommended!
