While I very seldom write online reviews, I did want to share my very positive experience with Mega City who completed my roof replacement today – took day and a half to complete. What sets Mega City apart from many roofing contractors is its owner, Tom. You will find Tom to be very genuine, easy going, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth, which I appreciate. No hard sell, and provides a reasonable competitive quote to work within your parameters for what I know is quality work and material that he will stand by.

The crew he has assembled including Roman, his site supervisor (another good guy too) work great together and boy are they punctual. The guys were friendly and very thorough, professional and respectful of our and neighbouring property. To top it off, Tom personally inspects the work done upon completion on top of the roof before giving his seal of approval.

All in all, I can’t think of a better contracting experience. New roof looks awesome and because Mega City is a GAF Certified Installer, I have peace of mind that I made the absolute best decision in my roofing contractor! Thanks again, Tom and team!

Just had a roof replacement done last week for my townhome + 3 others attached.
An abundance of research was done leading up to my company selection, and Mega City Roofing prevailed well beyond it's competitors on the top-notch GAF roofing system being offered and the price they were charging for it.
Tom (owner) is fantastic! Super friendly & accommodating, very knowledgeable about his product & applications, and very thorough from start to finish.
His team was swift, punctual, professional, and did a great job!
The new roof looks great & I would HIGHLY recommend Mega City Roofing to anyone looking for repair work or full roof replacement!

Tom and his team were responsible, clean, respectful and a pleasure to do business with. The shingled roof was done in a day - he brought out 2 teams to get it done quickly because of all of the rain we've had this summer. The 2 flat roofs were a big job but they are draining much better now that they are sloped better and scuppers have been added. Tom has attention to detail that is great and he worked with me every step of the way to make sure I knew what was going on and to answer my questions. Thanks Tom!

To Tom and the entire Mega City crew - thank you for all your hard work dedication and commitment to my home. Tom, your crew was, to say the least, exceptional from start to finish. When I discovered water damage in my newly renovated guest bedroom I panicked. I got a several estimates but after contacting and meeting Tom Geo my hunt was over. Tom was very professional punctual and more importantly knowledgeable. Once his crew commenced the work, they discovered 4 layers of tar and gravel had to be stripped and replaced. They were simply amazing and completed the job in two days. Thank you all for a job well done! I would highly recommend this company.

Mega City did a neighbours roof a few years ago and we were impressed with their work so this year when we decided to get a new roof, we called Tom.
They did a beautiful job and it was completed same day.

After a particularly bad thunderstorm with driving winds and hail, we noticed water had entered our master bathroom. A quick inspection revealed that one of our shingles was on our neighbour's rooftop. Our existing roof is 12 years old so we thought that it might be time to do a roof replacement. We called Tom Geo from Mega City Roofing. Tom inspected the roof and advised that it remained in relatively good condition and recommended a repair only. We discussed the specification for a roof replacement and it was clear that Tom would do a thorough job including installation of snow and ice shield, a drip edge and proper backing on the roof deck. We will definitely invite Mega City Roofing to quote on our eventual roof replacement as Tom Geo is clearly an honest and knowledgeable contractor.

Everything was A plus... workmanship, communication and trade knowledge. Paid more than other quotes from other roofers but if you want a Mercedes, you pay for the material and workmanship of the auto. Spend less money... then settle on a cheaper model.

Crew arrived early on the date appointed....7:30 shingles dropped off ..... and by 9am the rest of the crew arrived and started work.
Everything was communicated.

Tom is very knowledgeable and will not sell you unnecessary services. Being a Certified Installer for the shingles they use gives the warranty against manufactures defects a bit more bite.
His crew are responsible, courteous and clean up as much as possible after the job. They even covered the neighbours Florida room glass with sheets of plywood.
Prices are reasonable and would definitely recommend his services.

After buying a new house we discovered that the shingles were in terrible shape (the previous owners hired very poor contractors to do it). Mega City replaced my entire roof (on a ~2500 sqft house) in a single day. They were on time, friendly, communicative, and as far as I can tell, the work was done well. The thing that impressed me most was that they showed me exactly what was wrong with the old shingles (nails were placed incorrectly), and showed the correct way, and how it makes a difference.

The only negative I have to say is that the garden beds around the house were not well taken care. One lavender bush was crushed, and when they were tearing out the old shingles some of them landed in our newly planted vegetable garden. I understand now that it's difficult to be absolutely perfect in this regard, but a heads up would've been appreciated so I could've taken extra precautions myself.

Despite that, I would fully recommend Mega City.

UPDATE: May, 2018. I just wanted to add that my roof survived both the ice storm we had this spring, and a crazy wind storm that knocked over tons of fences and ruined many roofs in the area.

Hired Mega City Roofing to replace my old cedar shake shingles with asphalt shingles. You could not ask for a better crew. Tom and his team were professional, courteous, safety conscious and very hard working. I am very pleased with the results and Tom made sure that everything was done to my expectations. He was always available to answer my questions. Would highly recommend the company.
