Maret's Quality Home Cleaning

Our floors were covered in dust after a small renovation and our place felt so dirty. We had Maret over for a quote and decided to go with her company. The day of the cleaning Maret and her 3 cleaners arrived with all of their cleaning supplies promptly at 8:00 am. They unloaded and we did another walk through to confirm what they were going to clean.

I left, came back 7 hours later, and the place was spotless! The floors that had been covered in dust looked like new. They got our huge mirrors extremely shiny and streak-free (something we haven't been able to do). They cleaned the inside of the windows, outside of the cupboards, and all sorts of other details areas.

We were very pleased with not only the work, but also with Maret's business ethics. The job took a bit longer than we were quoted but she stuck to the quote. She also treated her staff extremely well, which I always think is the sign of a good person.

My wife and I contacted Maret's Quality Cleaning Services based on the positive internet reviews her business had obtained. From the first contact she was prompt, professional and very direct in her estimate of what it would take to thoroughly clean an extremely dirty, student type 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment near U of T. She arrived on time, supervised 4 ladies who carried out an exhaustive cleaning of the entire apartment including stove, fridge etc., they even went so far as to polish the ceiling light fixtures (12' ceilings). The end result was that the level of cleaning they provided far surpassed our expectations and effectively transformed the apartment from a student hovel into an accomodation anyone would feel comfortable living in. This is an exceptional, professional cleaning service that I intend to use again.

We hired Marets after reading the reviews on Homestars. After calling Maret, she arrived at our home the next evening for an estimate. We were both impressed with how she walked us through our home and explained what her crew would do. From beginning to end our dealings with Maret were worth every penny. Maret organized a crew of 4 ladies to clean our home from top to bottom after a 3 month reno. Gone was the dust, the total caos, our home was back to normal in a single day. My wife and I would like to thank Maret and her team for a job well done!!

We had just completed several small repairs to our house that we were about to sell. Maret was able to bring in a team on very short notice who did an exceptional job. Special thanks fro Meryl and Danielle who were diligent in all aspects of the project and fast too! I will use this service again and highly recommend it.

On short notice Maret's team was able to clean our house from the cement and other dust from a major kitchen renovation including a ceramic tile hallway replacement with hardwood. Every surface and over 1000 books needed to be cleaned and dusted.

I tend to keep my fairly large apartment ( with too many mirrored walls and ceilings ) quite clean, but every once in a while it needs a thorough "spring cleaning". Maret's Quality Home Services was perfect for the job. Although the 8-hour estimate was a bit under the time required, this was not an issue given the care and thoroughness of Juliet's work. At one point during the day, Maret herself came in to check and to help with the ceiling mirrors. Maret runs a very professional business: you can expect punctuality, excellent cleaning, careful supervision, follow up calls and exemplary treatment of her employees.

Although Dad was doing his best since Mom passed away ... the house required a good cleaning from top to bottom. Through Homestars I contacted Maret ... what a wonderful lady. She is a very professional lady who has immense integrity. Maret showed up on time both for the estimate and to do the job. Jenn and Juliet worked non stop until the job was done. Maret came back at the estimated completion time ... but the work was not yet complete. She continued to demonstrate her deep caring and passion by working with Jenn and Juliet until it met her high standard. When they finally left my Dad's home it sparkled!! Mom would have been very happy. Maret also did not charge for the additional time required to make the house shine. As mentioned in an earlier review, Maret really respects and appreciates her employees ... and it shows in their work. Thank you Maret, Jenn and Juliet for your time and passion. Busy hectic life, sick elderly relatives and long work hours left little time to clean. I hesitated to engage a cleaning service as I've always heard the good cleaners are all booked up and those that can take you on are generally no good. I stumbled upon Maret's excellent reviews on homestars.com and thought it sounded too good to be true but would give it a try anyway since I was drowning. Maret came and provided a thorough and professional estimate explaining why it would take the time estimated and telling me she would take the stress away. We made the booking and Maret fit us into a tight schedule in order for us to have a sparkling home for planned pool party. Maret and her team arrived sharp at the promised hour and they professionally set to work. I have never seen such hard workers. I didn't see anyone let up for an instant... they were go, go, go.... Every surface, every baseboard, every blind were all sparkling when the team was done. We have a mirror wall and I can never get it clean and streakfree no matter how much elbow grease I apply. This entire wall shone. (My boys have been warned that they don't want to be the culprits to add the first fingerprints to the mirrors!) I can't say enough about the team, their professionalism and the incredible results. I wish I had done this ages ago! Maret also stood by her estimate. Thanks so much !!!!!

My house had not been lived in for 3 years and had major water damage after a pipe burst. Major renovations took place. Walls and floors needed to be replaced. We also painted every room. Maret and her team were responsible and reliable showing up for an estimate and then the actual job on time. They did an amazing job cleaning and carting away everything from every closet and cupboard. The house is now in move-in condition! Maret is truly a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend her service.

We enquired about a total house cleaning to prep a house in Don Mills for sale and Maret was at the house to provide a quote within 1/2 hour. The estimate was provided immediately. A follow up call to Stephanie was handled efficiently, courteously and professionally. Maret met with us later to review what would be cleaned before the job commenced. Maret and her team were on time for all meetings and appointments ... a good sign of things to come!

I cannot say enough about how hard and well Stephanie and her team worked throughout the day. When I met them at the house, I was greeted by a very friendly and professional Stephanie. She took me around the house and showed me what they had already completed and continually asked if they could do anything else and if I was satisfied. Her three other team members were equally courteous and professional. It was quite evident that all three of the other team members were equally concerned about doing a great job ... and they did do a great job!

Maret met with me at the end of the day to inspect the house to make sure that everything was just as promised. Maret had originally quoted based on an 18 hour job but her team actually worked for 24 hours because of some unexpected extra work which was required to make the job complete and just right. Maret explained what the complication was but said that she would just charge as per the original quote.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Maret's Quality Home Cleaning Services. What I received was quality home cleaning, dependability, integrity, honesty and, I think best of all, wonderful people to do the job right the first time.

There was one other point I noticed. Maret actually spent about 1/2 hour after the job was completed to talk to her staff. While I didn't catch everything discussed as I was working inside the house, I did catch enough to know that they discussed the job as well as future jobs which lay ahead. It was obvious that Maret is constantly trying to improve her level of service to customers. I was most impressed with this discussion and review strategy and this bodes well for any/all regular customers as well as potential future customers.
