Based on the positive reviews from homestars.com, I contacted Maret's Quality Home Cleaning Services about moving-in cleaning services.

The Cleaning
Maret and her team of ladies (Bisa, Genevieve, Colmbe (sp?)) exceeded all expectations in cleaning my new home. After two days, the whole house of approximately 3500 sq ft sparkled from top to bottom. Every surface was clean and smooth, from the windows to the kitchen cabinets to all the little nooks and crannies of the moldings. All the walls, even inside the closet, looked like it was freshly painted. The spots behind and underneath the washer/dryer were cleaned as well. I was very happy with the results!

The Business Side
I was also very happy with how Maret conducted business - she was punctual and professional. Communication was good whether it was by email or phone.

The Cost
I was not able to show Maret the house to get an estimate due to a technical difficulty on my part (locked out of the house on closing day even with a key -- that's another story!), but we discussed my priorities and budget before the cleaning began. It soon became clear to me that Maret and her team take pride in doing a thorough job when they cleaned a significant number of extra areas without charge. So I was able to stay within budget and get much more cleaned than I expected!

I had gone away for 2 months during which time I had the stairs refaced and new floors put in.
I'm allergic to dust and was dreading coming home to 'the mess' so called Maret as I had used her before and had been very pleased.

I would highly recommend Martel and her crew, they are efficient, considerate and thorough. The ladies who came to clean up after the renovations did a terrific job. If you need someone, don't hesitate - take our word, they will do a great job.

We bought an 80 yr old house, had some renovations done, and hired Maret's company to clean it before we moved in. It was fairly short notics (only 2 weeks in advance) but Maret re-arranged her schedule for us. On the day of the cleaning, one of her cleaners came down with a bad flu. Maret changed her personal plans for that day and filled in as the additional cleaner. They also stayed later than expected to ensure that everything sparkled. And it did! We're definitely going to hire Maret's company for ongoing house cleaning.

Maret and her team were absolutely amazing!!!! I had become POA for my Mother and her home had to be cleaned and sold for her nursing home costs. My Mother's house was in horible shape from years and years of neglect. Maret and her team came in and worked so hard and diligently. They scrubbed and cleaned the house from top to bottom. I never thought the house could look and be that clean after all these years but it was.It was amazing for me to see the transformation. They even managed to get my Mother's kitchen sink white again.I am so grateful for the hard work they did that day.
I have sold the house now and because of their hard work and determination, I was able to sell the house for more than it was listed for.Their work ethic and professionalism were impeccable!!!

We called Maret last minute and was surprised to see she was available to come over for a free estimate within two hours. Before we knew it she had a team of six ( very professional ) ladies in our home. We are overly impressed by the quality of the work done that day. We have mentioned it to all our closest friends and will use this company in the near future.

Maret came over to the house herself, she was very professional and we liked her immediately. She walked through the house with us, asking questions, observing . She then presented us with an estimate of number of hours needed to clean the house completely to start with then we would arrange follow up maintenance. She has an hourly rate, we decided on one housekeeper Sarah and we just love her. She is honest, reliable, polite and friendly. She has a small dog too, so gets along great with our Boston Terrier who does not always like company of strangers.
The cleaning performed is amazing , i highly recommend them without reservation. We were in a car accident and have whiplash and the insurance company is paying most of the weekly cleaning but i will hire them long after our coverage is over. Steve & Linda. beaches Toronto

Maret deserves all her rave reviews. She returned my late-night call the next morning, came to my home the following day to give an estimate and her team did a fabulous job. It was a big job, too... three stories, three dogs, two kids... + I can barely find time to vacuum ;-) I actually felt better knowing that the reason i couldn't manage to get on top of it all was that it took four amazingly hard-working women 6 hours each. I just don't have that kind of time (and, I'll admit it, skill) and it as such a relief to have a clean house. I have already recommended Maret to friends and will definitely hire her and her team again.

Maret was recommended to us by very picky friends who were thrilled with her services. I couldn't agree more. Maret took the time to meet with us in person to discuss what we wanted and met our request in every way. Maret and her staff were exceptional workers and a pleasure to have in the house. Maret met her original quote even though the agreed upon work took about 10 hours longer than expected (this was because of an unseen problem with our rads - not because her quote was not accurate). We really couldn't be happier!

We used Maret and her team to clean our house before we moved in. With a delayed closing date, they actually came the day we were moving in, which added complexity as they had to work with and around the movers as they moved in all of our furniture. As well, the house had not been lived in for about 6 weeks, so there was lots to clean. Maret came up with a team of 3, looked over the house and at that time gave us an idea of how much it would cost/time it would take, and gave the cleaners instructions/guidance. They did a fabulous job cleaning the place top to bottom, and were extremely flexible both in terms of their start time (came over around 7am) as well as working around the movers. They were professional and excellent to work with. Also, they used this amazing product which is environmentally friendly and completely non-toxic/non-fume (Pink Solution), which we ended up buying from Maret. We will definitely have them come clean our place again, and would strongly recommend to others.
