Jia Jia Moving

I would like to highly recommend Jia Jia Moving! I had about 50 boxes to move and booked them last minute for this past Satruday! They showed up right on time at 9am and worked very quick to get everything loaded. They used dollies and although I didnt need it, I noticed they have blankets and other equipment to help with any move. I will certainly use them again in the future. Their customer service is super as well, I recieved calls from the office prior to move as well as email confirmation. Very professional company!

This is the third time I used Jia Jia moving, as always, they did an excellent job. This time is for a bedroom king set including a king bed, 2 nightstands, 1 dresser with mirror, an armoire and an antique chair. I mentioned to them while booking that the whole set is antique style solid wood, very heavy and expensive. I asked for 3 movers. They came half an hour early, and very carefully wrapped all the furnitures with blanket. It's a tough job to move the big heavy piece from the second floor of one house and to the second floor in another house. They had a hard time going through the stairs. Finally everything is perfectly set. I am very satisfied, and the charge is exactly the same as the quote, I am more than happy to pay them some tips. I would recommend Jia Jia moving to any of my friends.

I paid $624 for...

1. After 1.5 hours the small struck is not even 1/3 full.
2. My husband had to move 
3. It took more than 3 hours to clear (actually couldn't even finish) 2 bedroom condo – we don't even have a bedroom set
4. Our new house is 10 minutes away.
5. The mover refuse to put a single thing to upstairs. 
6. I had to pay someone else $100 to move mattress and other furnitures to upstairs
7. We had to finally let them go at 6:30 (after more than 6 hours). So they left our stuff on our front lawn.

1. How much longer does an elevator take from 2nd floor to 17th floor? I wonder how much faster they could've done their job if I lived on 2nd floor. 2. The initial payment I was asked was $624 (see picture) with estimated completion at 6:30 pm. When the time came the movers wanted extra hour as well as money. So we let them go and they gave us some money back. 3. Jia Jia moving says 4-6 hours normal. But in my case, not a single box went to 2nd floor after 5.5 hours, not to mention they couldn't unload everything from truck.
4. What the use of their gift card after this kind of service? It won't cover extra $100 I spent to moving furnitures to upstairs. At least send me an apology!!!!

I was referred by a friend to this company. I booked them for what I would consider to be a last minute booking and they were great! The movers arrived on time. We courteous and polite. They were very gentle with our items and worked very hard on a hot day in August. Not a thing was broken or damaged. Every thing they did was effiecient, which I liked because I was paying them by the hour. After the job was done the office called to follow-up on the move and gave me a quick customer satisfaction survey. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for an affordable move with great people!

The movers arrived 30 minutes late and upon arriving, one of the movers went to buy coffee. I understood the scenario since it was a month end and they had a busy day. In the middle of moving, one of the movers opened my fridge to get a drink. This is a no-no since he did not ask for my permission. He asked me for a coke but I did not have any. I walked to the nearest convenient store and bought two bottles of coke for the two movers. Again, I understood they must have had a busy day.

Since I live in a small unit and do not have any sofa, tv or any heavy furnitures, the entire move was completed just a little over TWO HOURS including travel time.

I paid full amount for the whole THREE HOURS time (including tax) and tipped the drivers about $25 dollars.

HOWEVER, the movers asked for more money! And they were NOT being polite about it. I had a feeling that they will not leave until I pay more money. I told the movers, if you want more money, you have to be straightforward and let me know in the beginning. I proceeded and gave them another $20 dollars to a total of $300 dollars in total.

I am registering this as a formal complain with the Better Business Bureau because the act of the movers is unprofessional. The experience with the movers is unpleasant and I am offended.

I hired these guys to move me to my new apartment. They arrived on time and moved my furniture quickly and with no damage. The price was very affordable and the service was excellent. There was a little bit of a language barrier, which was expected considering that they are a chineese company, but everything went well and we understood eachother just fine with some patience.

Just moved on Sunday. I’m very happy with the service. Found their rate on their website and booking was a breeze. Two guys came and finished my 1 bedroom apartment in 3 hrs. They even disassembled and wrapped my furniture. It was so cold; I can barely stand outside for 5 mins and Ryan & Liu just worked through it. Moving certainly is not an easy task, those guys deserve every dollar of my tip. I will recommend this company to whoever wants to move.

Crew arrived on time and packed the truck quickly. They arrived at our new home 5 minutes after we did and unpacked the truck just as fast as they loaded it. Other then a 3 foot scratch on the finish of our hardwood floor in one room (suspect it happened at the end when one of them was tired), our stuff arrived without any damage. Jia Jia Movers actually came in under the quote they gave me.

I've paid 10 times this price for a different mover for a country wide move and that crew broke tables and beds in the process. I would recommend Jia Jia Movers in a second over the big name companies.

We have used Jia Jia moving several times and have been very satisfied with their service. They are quick, professional, reliable and most of all, affordable. Understanding Mandarin is a bonus but not necessary.
