addition to house and 2 floor renovation
After considering several design build companies in Toronto we decided to go with J Roberts and Associates. Jeff listened to our wish list and needs, (we were expecting our first child in October 2014 and had a firm completion date and budget). Jeff and team did an amazing job on our renovation. The house is 90+ years old and located in east york. Jeff worked through challenges with building codes as well as our narrow lot size to make sure we maximized our space with the design. Jeff worked quickly through challenges with building codes and implemented solutions that met our budget and design.
Demolition began promptly after signing on and paying the deposit and work progressed every week from then on. Site visits were conducted weekly and the job site was always tidy. The permit was closed and we moved back in 2 weeks from his initial estimate, which we were happy with considering the size of the project. All deficiencies were addressed within a couple of weeks of close out. Jeff is a pleasure to work with - getting to know him over the course of this project made it a fun experience. He is professional and fair.
