I ordered their complete service last year and renewed it this year. The first year is hit and miss. The weeds are just partially controlled and my lawn is not really improving.
Those workers they hired do not really care about my property. They don’t know how to open my gate and just yank it open. My lock got damaged and I need to get my contractor to fix it last year. I filed a complaint and at least they apologize.
I gave them another chance by renewing this year. I am more careful and actually open the lock for them before they come. This time I never got their call (even after double check my call history) and worked came at 7:30am. Again they yanked at my lock and it got partially damaged. I got a hold of the worker and he gave me an attitude saying that he does not see the damage. I sent an email to Hometurf. This time an agent called Samantha called back and insisted that they called me. She did not even mention or apologize for anything about the damage. This is very disappointing as I paid by service but I got attitude.
On a side note, when they asked me to renew, they said I will get 10% off from the price if I renew. I later found out that the price I paid (included 10%) is the same as the price if I signed up as a new customer. I considered this a dishonest business practice.
