Hoerner Heating & Plumbing

I requested a quote to replace 3 radiator valves and corroded pipes, and to fix the furnace (noise + relief valve leaking too much).

Hoerner told me I had to pay for someone to come provide me with a quote. I was told at the very least they would be able to provide me with a description of the problem, what I need done and a quote.

I was charged for the visit, then two young, in-experienced guys came, couldn't answer any of my questions, went back to the office and I was sent a quote for $10,230.84 to replace all 11 radiator control valves and bleeders. For the furnace they quoted me for a circulator pump (which I didn't need but that was the only part that I asked about - in other words, they quoted me on work that I asked about, not what I needed).

I was so furious!! I should have gotten my money back for the visit as they didn't even do what they said they were going to do for that. I just ignored it all and went to reputable firms. I ended up getting what I needed done for $3k.

It's outrageous how they charge for a visit and don't even provide the customer with the correct diagnostic or direction.
