They can be relitively good with just some minor issues or wham-o, much bigger problems that one would never expect with a new home. Thank you for the review Daniel!!! I really appreciate it. Well, you're not the first person to forgo the inspection in order to get the home. Certainly, with the market the way it is, it's not always possible. Not a bad idea though with having it inspected just to be sure everything is okay and that there were no major concerns. In your case, there wasn't. (Nothing worse than coming out with bad news with people who bought under the same circumstances.) At least now you know. ... I absolutely love inspecting old Toronto homes. The character to that home was unreal. Sometimes people may interpret "character" as "aggravation". Nope. Not here. Not one of those homes that take a complete gut job. Some people mean well when they buy older homes that require full renovations, I mean TOTAL renovations, but lets not kid ourselves, we only have so much enthusiasm then it just becomes aggravation. If not a money pit. To me, this home was perfect for getting it ready. I'm sure you and your family will be quite happy and are very excited about what you will do with the home!
