Washer, dryer, fridge, stove

BEWARE OF THE BRICK, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
My husband and I recently purchased FIVE items from the Brick. WORST DECISION EVER. one of them broke down in the first week. The customer service I received to have this resolved has been absolutely HORRIBLE to say the least. The BRICK doesn't care about the customer at all. All you care about are sales and when it comes to customer satisfaction, NOTHING. After a technician came to assess our defective appliance, he told us it would be 10 business days until we received the new part for the repair. 10 business days came and we didn't get a call or anything. When we called, they let us know that it was actually going to be delayed by ONE MONTH. The appliance that was defective was a washer. You're telling me we have to wait over ONE month for a repair and you don't even have the professionalism to CALL us and let us know??? After that we called back a week later to try and expedite the part. We were told it would be done. We called back 2 days later and the person told us there was no note to expedite the item. We decided we did not want to be pushed around and we just wanted a replacement unit (which we are entitled to since we bought it on a brick card - 90 day warranty). We called the warranty department and they told us they are unable to do an exchange. We went into the store and they told us the warranty department will be able to do the exchange. NO ONE wants to take responsibility for this. How hard is it to cancel a parts order and issue a refund. The warrant / customer service personnel kept telling us that they will "email" their supervisor / manager to get this processed and that we would receive a call within 48 hrs. This happened THREE times as we waited 2 days each time and NO call came through. We have had to follow up with you guys every 3 days for SOMETHING to get done about this. Absolutely horrible. We have been put on hold for 30 mins to an HOUR each time. ON HOLD!! ridiculous. We both work 9-5 and it is EXTREMELY inconvenient and expensive for us to call and follow up. When we call customer service, they tell us to call warranty, when we call warranty, they tell us to go to the store , when we go to the store, they tell us to call customer service and the cycle continues!!!!!!!!!! When I called head office (after asking MULTIPLE times for a number, each time we were told it doesn't exist until yesterday they finally gave us a number), they told us the request has been made to the manufacturer and we will get the exchange. HOW MANY WEEKS AND FOLLOW UPS DID WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH FOR THIS ONE SIMPLE REQUEST?????? We shouldn't have had to jump through all these hoops and put through so much bs. After all that, we don't receive ANY sort of compensation from THE BRICK???? We are extremely dissatisfied with the service at the BRICK and will definitely be sharing this with all our family and friends!!! We will be sharing this post as well on a lot of other furniture boards. BEWARE OF THE BRICK, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Blue Ray player

When I didn't receive the item, I tried the contact information provided to me on the confirmation email. The email address they provided was not a valid email. Really???what kind of company does that???I phoned sat on hold forever, then cancelled my order. First and last time I shop there.

FURNITURE-DINING TABLE

This was one of the worst decision to buying furniture from brick. we bought dining set before 45 days ago from brick and still we didn't get complete set. When they send the table and chairs and all of the chairs were damaged , so we have to returned the chairs and delivery guy was so rude . Then after 2 weeks they send us new chairs and they arrived damaged as well. so we called the store manager at the newton branch in surrey bc and he was giving lame excuses .after 2 weeks they came and didn't bring the chairs and just assemble the table when we asked them about the chairs they said you to phone the store. My husband was so mad and phoned the brick located in Newton office they said it is in the truck and we waited till 7 pm and then manager said i will find out and will call you tomorrow first thing in the morning. We didn't get any response from brick store manger so we phoned them back next day and they said the manger is off today. We are at this moment still waiting for the chairs . There is no date for delivery. There return policy is worth less if you have open the box you can only exchange with in seven day no refunds you will only get refund if you return the product within seven day.

we called head office and they were sorry for everything .sorry will not do anything its wastage of time and money and not good stuff.We are not happy for this service.we will never recommend to anyone to buy products from brick.
Waste of time ,money and frustration comes from brick.

Washer and dryer

I bought a washer and a dryer from The Brick. It was the worst decision I ever made... They never came to deliver them so I called the store and asked what was going on. After putting me on hold for 30 minutes, they told me that there was no stock available. After arguing with them, they finally decided that they were going to deliver them the next day. Again, I waited all day at home and no one came. I called them but they hung up in my face so I decided to go to the store. The manager there had a huge attitude problem and was very unhelpful. They told me that they came but that I wasn't home. I couldn't believe that they were falsifying in my face. It was pathetic. I was so angry. I told them that I wanted a refund but they wouldn't give me my money back. They made up some lame excuses. It's been over a week and I'm still waiting for my washer and dryer. It's completely unacceptable! I highly recommend that you avoid The Brick at all costs. Once they have your money, you're on your own. The customer service is terrible! For your information, I bought some sofas from a competitor. The sofas came the expected day of delivery. They were well wrapped and I had absolutely no problems. I regret not buying my washer and dryer from there as well.

Furniture - Dinning Table

The quality of the products are horrible, I had to return the first one after a month and the reselction is not any better.
Customer service is aweful, no one is taking responsibility for the defected products they give you and you have to chase them down to even get an answer.
Would never buy anything from this company again.

Brick Sofa

Purchased a sofa, which was advertised as Top Grain leather, asked sales person she confirmed that it is genuine leather, I asked her how come it is only $800 she answered it is special for boxing week. When received I saw the tag on it: %40 leather, %60 PVC, I tried calling them, no body answered the phone, I went to store, sales person was not able to help me, I talked to Sale Manager in South Edmonton Common store, he was extremely rude, first I showed him print out from their website, he confirmed that it is correct and told me that it is genuine leather, every part of sofa. Then I told him about the tag and showed him, he said that it means that seating area is leather and non-seating area is PVC (exactly against his own words) which was a bullshit, then he told me that it is impossible to sell a genuine leather sofa for this price (again exactly against his own words), he told me they only thing I can do is to return it or sue the company !!!!. No apology or any thing. When I wanted to return they told me that they are charging me for delivery!!!!! Finally after arguing they refunded me. Today is day 5 still I don't see refund in my visa card. I am calling them every day but no body is answering. Please stay away from this company.

Product

Worst customer experience ordered online and they could not send in credit card called customer service 5 times on hold over an 1.5 hours they were uncooperative, told me it was the credit card company stopping the order called the credit card company they said no order was processed or even sent in from the brick. Contacted the brick they said hold for a minute and they will go check got hung up on waited an hour called back got the supervisor on the phone who could not give me a straight answer why the had issues processing or getting back to the client. Asked to speak to her manager and she refused to transfer me. Cancelled my order will never go back. Have been a long time customer over 15 k spent at their store and all lost by one terrible transaction.

Couch & Chair

If you can avoid this store, please do at all costs. We went in the second week of November to purchase a couch and chair. We had been having a lot of trouble finding a couch I found comfortable. Luckily (or so we thought) that day we found a couch there that I really liked. We also found a chair that we really liked, with customizable options. So we made our purchase, and were told that the couch would arrive on November 15th (the following week), and the chair, being custom made, would arrive much later, on December 18th. We were okay with this. However, November 15th rolled around, and we didn't receive a call saying our couch was in. The next day we called to ask if it was there for pick up, we were told that our salesman had screwed up and accidentally put both pieces of furniture into the computer to arrive for December 18th. We told them that was unacceptable, and to fix it. We were told they would call us back the next day. We didn't receive a call the next day, and called them a half our before closing time, when we were told that the customer service worker had fixed it in the computer and it would arrive November 29th. Fine, we could deal with that. However, today (November 29th) we still didn't receive a call saying the couch was in, so we called after work around 5:30 and were told that it was still slated, in the computer, to arrive December 18th. We were extremely unhappy and were told that the customer service worker would figure out what was going on and call us back. Again, a half hour before close, we had to call them back as we were not phoned as promised. We were told that they don't know where our couch is, and that there are five in Winnipeg, purchased after we purchased ours, but were on hold for other customers so there was no way we could have one of those. We were told that our couch, although showing as in stock online, was still being BUILT and that there is no way we will receive it before December 18th. We were offered nothing but a refund, which we would have gladly taken had it not been so difficult to find a couch that I found comfortable. Extremely unhappy, poor customer service, and it seems that since they are commission-based, all that matters is the sale. We will follow through with this order, but never again will we step foot in this store.

Larger Desk

Instructions were not inside the box. I was told that they can only mail them to me, days later on follow-up I was told that they could not provide instructions on how to assemble the desk. This was after talking with many employees, so I decided to assemble the desk without instructions (many days later). In the end, I have a desk with a right hand configuration instead of a left hand configuration. I am glad that was all we purchased - and went elsewhere for the rest.

GE Profile Tall Tub Dishwaher

The PureClean Wash System uses multiple filtration levels to ensure dried foods and sauces REMAIN on dishware. I hand wash 3-4 dishes after the PURECLEAN wash system dries the green onion or bran flake onto the bowl. Do not recommend this DISHWASHER
