I am trying to be fair in my rating. They gave me a quotation via email. They arrived on time and cleaned the carpets as agreed. My only complaint is that they were unable to remove some stains. While the carpet was wet, it appeared that the stains were gone but after the carpet dried, the stains were still there. I complained and the company sent their cleaners as second time and again it appeared that the stains were gone. However, when the carpet dried, the stains were still there, but not as severe. They informed me that there are no guarantees for stains. So I cannot give them a good rating on that basis. It would seem to me that a professional cleaning company would have industrial strength stain removal products. And since the second cleaning seemed to improve the stain removal, I would think an additional cleaning might remove more of the stain. I am enclosing a picture of the current state of the carpet. I paid this company over $1000 for carpet cleaning. I am not satisfied with the results.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee stain removal, no professional company can. We do offer spot and stain treatment as a standard part of all our services, we don't charge extra, but due many variables (spill type, spill age, carpet type, sun exposure, whether or not it was previously treated, what it was treated with, etc.) it is impossible to offer a blanket guarantee on stain removal. It is a case by case situation.
Our technicians carry various spotters and stain removal solutions that they will use depending on the situation at hand but the results do vary. In your situation a previously settled stain had wicked up after the steam cleaning and as a courtesy we returned a second time to treat the area and were able to reduce it further. 5/10 seems harsh given that out of 9 rooms, 2 stair sets, and 1 hallway that was cleaned, you were dissatisfied with the one hardened stain.
