1-800-GOT-JUNK?

On the day that the arrangements were made, the team called me, and notified me of when they expected to be there. They were punctual. This is as good as it was going to be. They explained the process of estimating how much work would be done. They said that they expected two trucks. If it was less, I would pay for less, if it was more, then I would still pay for 2 trucks.

That changed.

(#1) After finishing the first truck, their boss came out, spot-checked it, then left without talking to me. He later would REFUSE to talk to me on the phone, instead leaving his employees to deal with me. Unfortunately, I would need 4 trucks, and, they were only going to be able to do one truck that day.

(#2) "What about 'if we go over, you still pay for only two trucks'"? Ya - that changed really quickly.

(#3) They then decided that - if they had time - they would come back at the end of the day to do a second truck. They showed up at 5pm, and hauled out a second truck. Truck #1 was 3/4 full, but charged for a full truck. I have photos. They will be posted to the internet.

(#4) "Maybe tomorrow, or maybe the day after, we'll come back and haul away the rest. We're not sure. It's whenever our boss says we can come back to do the rest". At no point could I call/speak to the boss.

(#5) The next day, they called us, and told us that they would come THE NEXT DAY.

Would I recommend this company again? Probably not.

The workers were diligent, and tried very hard to please. They were polite, and felt bad that they misled us in their estimate.

When the 1800gotjunk called us after the first day to see how they did, instead of offering suggestions as to how to fix the problem for the next time, they ended up making excuses.

Very pleased with every level of contact with 1-800-GOT-JUNK, from my initial “inquiry call”, through online booking, to the actual appointment’s conclusion. The onsite representatives were fantastic – on-time, clear in all process & cost explanations, personable and very efficient. Highly recommended if you have that nagging need to purge!

My boss Patti called & inquired if they can remove a huge desk from one of the offices here at our company. So, we scheduled for them to come in the next day.
Before arriving, one of the guys, Jeff had left me a message. As I called back, & speaking to him for a few seconds, I knew right off the bat he was a nice guy. Both Jeff & Bjorn had arrived 20 min later as they said they would to come & remove this desk. They were SO nice, patient & very polite. I would recommend them to others.

I was very pleased when they showed up at the time they said they would. They were quick and efficient even with moving an older VERY heavy big screen TV from the upstairs . I was afraid they might have a hard time taking it down the stairs but they did it with easy. They also took alot of other smaller things . I was very grateful not to have to do this all myself.

Amazing service, polite employees even picked up the smallest pieces of debris and swept the driveway when finished,would definitley recommend this service to family and friends resonable prices for work performed.

Both Jeff and Jesse were excellent and very professional and went above and beyond to remove our "junk", such as old furniture which was not light. They were very polite, fast and efficient and cleaned up afterwards. I will for sure use this company again (and I have used another company just 2 years ago which was not that efficient at all and not much cheaper)

The service I received was really great and it was a stress free and a very positive experience. The price I was quoted was very fair for everything that was removed from my house and I did not have do anything. The guys were so efficient and accommodating and it was much quicker and easier than I imagined. They were awesome and I have already recommended you to a friend. Thanks KR and David!

My family used this service during out home and bathroom renovations. THey were extremely helpful and were willing to provide us with more boxes for the junk in case we needed at a minimal cost. i would highly recommend this company to anyone in the GTA area.
